After successfully hosting FIS Freestyle Ski, Snowboard and Freeski World Championships, Georgia remains in the center of attention of winter sports and welcomes the next season with interesting news.
On June 7th, with initiative of the Georgian Ski Federation, the Mountain Trails Agency, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia was held a press conference, where the calendar of the 2023/2024 competition season was announced.
Race directors of the International Ski Federation (FIS), Uwe Beyer and Klaus Waldner attended the press conference with the Georgian organizing committee members , the Deputy Minister of Economy Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Director of the Mountain Trails Agency Irakli Burchuladze and the President of the Georgian Ski Federation Zurab Kostava.
The 2023/2024 competition season will open in Bakuriani with the Mogul World Cup on December 22-23.
On February 2-4, the season will continue with Snowboard Cross World Cup in Gudauri, and on February 9-11, Bakuriani will again host Ski Cross World Cup.
