The Youth World Championship is being held in Georgia for the first time. On February 3-4 this year, Gudauri successfully hosted the FIS World Cup in the discipline of snowboard cross. Georgia became the center of attention of the world once again and took an honorable place on the world sports map. The successfully held World Cup in the discipline of snowboard cross attracted the attention of the International Ski Federation (FIS) to our country again. That is why Gudauri was once again selected to hold the international level competition, which fully meets all standards, both in terms of infrastructure and organization.
The event was held for the first time in 1997 in Italy. Then the hosts were such countries as: Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden and others and in 2024 Georgia won the right to host the Youth World Championship.
The Youth World Championship is organized by the “Mountain Tracks Agency” (MTA) LLC of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development with the support of the Government of Georgia.
The co-organizer of the World Championship is the Georgian Ski Federation and its sponsor company “Silknet”.
Sponsor companies: “TBC” and “Redco”.
