The 25th Winter Olympics in Milano-Cortina was the fifth for Nino Tsiklauri. Nino is the first athlete in the history of Georgian winter sports to compete in five Olympics.

On February 15, the giant slalom was held, where Nino took 49th place. The Olympic champion in this event was Italian Federica Brignone, the silver medal went to Swedish Sara Hector and the bronze medal went to Norwegian
Thea Louise Stjernesund.

On February 18, Nino was unfortunately disqualified in the slalom event for missing a gate. American legend Mikaela Shiffrin won the gold medal, with second and third places going to Switzerland’s Camille Rest and Sweden’s Anna Svenn Larsson.
