After successfully hosting World Cup and Europa Cup events in Bakuriani, Gudauri is hosting .
On March 20th Georgian Ski Federation held First stages of Georgian Championship in Alpine skiing , Slalom in particular.
Although the training session planned on 19th of March was canceled due to bad weather conditions, athletes had a chance to prepare for the competition before it took start on March 20th.
Up to 55 junior athletes from different regions of Georgia (Gudauri, Kazbegi, Svaneti, Bakuriani, Tbilisi, Adjara – 15 Girls, 40 ) participated in the competition. List of participants was divided in three age groups – 2000yy to 2009yy.
