On April 5-6, Gudauri hosted the Georgian Alpine Skiing Championship. The first day of the competition was canceled due to bad weather, but on April 6 the slalom was successfully held.

Members of the teams from Gudauri, Bakuriani, Mestia, Adjara and Tbilisi competed in three age categories. The Georgian Championship was attended by those athletes who accumulated high-rating points at the regional stages of the Georgian Cup during the 2024-2025 winter season.

The Georgian Championship is organized by the Ski Federation and M.T.A. with the traditional support of ,,Silknet“. The company, as the general sponsor of the Georgian Ski Federation, has been continuously supporting the development of skiing in Georgia since its establishment.

This year, the championship was joined by the ,,Marco Polo Gudauri“ Hotel as a partner.

This concludes the 2024-2025 winter season.
