Gudauri hosted the FIS Ski Cross World Cup on February 28 and March 1. 100 athletes from 14 countries competed in the competition. The races were held successfully on both days.
On the first day, Swiss Fanny Smith won the women’s race, Italian Joli Galli and Canadian India Sherret finishing second and third.
Italian Simone Deromedis won the men’s race, Japanese Ryo Sugai finished second, and Swedish Erik Mobaerg finished third. Georgian Davit Tediashvili unfortunately didn`t not qualify.

This concludes the ski cross competitions. The FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup will be held in Gudauri on March 8-9.
