On February 24-26, the Armenian Open Alpine Skiing Championship and rating competitions were held in the Armenian resort of Tsagkhadzor under the auspices of the International Ski Federation (FIS). The same days also saw the children’s (U14-U16) slalom and giant slalom events.

In the senior giant slalom, Nino Georkovi took third and second places, while Irakli Abesadze also took third place in the same race.

As for the children’s competitions, our skiers also distinguished themselves here. In giant slalom and slalom, Anastasia Vibliani won two victories among children in 2010-2011. In 2012-2013 Anano Sanakoevi also became the champion twice and Tekla Vibliani took second place on both days. Among boys in 2012-2013 Alexander Muradiani won the competitions in both races, Alexander Naskidashvili took third place and Davit Tsaritov also took third place.
