The final competition of the 2026 Georgian Alpine Skiing Championship – Giant Slalom was held in Gudauri on April 5. Due to the strong wind, the competition organizing committee, together with the sports club coaches, decided to hold only one run.

In this competition, as in the slalom event, the best 6-6 athletes from the Tbilisi, Gudauri, Bakuriani, Mestia and Adjara teams, who earned the corresponding points at the regional stages of the Georgian Cup, participated.

The awarding ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the 2026 Georgian Alpine Skiing Championship in slalom and giant slalom was held in the evening on the territory of the Marco Polo Hotel in a pleasant atmosphere accompanied by music.

The Georgian Championship is organized by the Ski Federation and M.T.A. and with the traditional support of Silknet. The company, as the general sponsor of the Federation, has been continuously supporting the development of skiing in Georgia since its establishment. The sponsors of the competition were: Hotel Marco Polo, Landmark Group and Red Bull.

This marked the end of the 2026 winter competition season.
