On January 18, FIS slalom competition was held in the Austrian resort of St. Michael, where Georgian national alpine team member Nino Tsiklauri competed. Nino took second place.

30 athletes from 13 countries competed in the competition. American Mirabelle Rachwel took first place.

Nino Tsiklauri suffered a knee injury two years ago and competed for the first time after a long rehabilitation.

Nino Tsiklauri: “I couldn’t ski for the last two seasons due to the injury. Last year I only competed in two competitions. I haven’t been skiing since April., I was rehabilitating again and now I’ve started training actively. Let’s see how it goes.”
