As part of the International Ski Federation (FIS) support and promotion program, ski federations of developing countries annually invite young skiers and coaches to participate in training camps organized by the program.<\/p>\n
This year, within the framework of the FIS program, a summer training camp was held from July 13 to July 19 at the ski jumping training complexes in the Slovenian resort of Planica. The Georgian ski jumping team participated in the camp. Athletes born in 2007-2011. (Junior age – 4 athletes, senior team members – 2 athletes and 2 coaches).<\/p>\n
From July 19 to July 29, three senior athletes of the Georgian national team are training at the existing ski jumping complex in the Austrian resort of Villach. The gathering is important for our athletes, as the preparation for the next season’s FIS rating tournaments will take place from the K-90 \/HHS 98 height ski jumping hills.<\/p>\n
A competition was also held in Villach, where Alan Gobozov took third place.<\/p>\n
