On March 5-6 International Ski Federation (FIS) representatives \u2013 Michel Vion (FIS General Secretary) and Sandra Spitz (FIS Event Manager) visited Bakuriani to attend World Cup test events. FIS members positively evaluated the event and potential of the resort.<\/p>\n

On March 7th<\/sup> after the World Cup events a working meeting was held between FIS representatives and Georgian LOC members in Bakuriani. Meeting parties discussed all crucial details of 2023 World Championship, such as planned infrastructural works, security rules, event program, technical, logistics, marketing, human resources management and other topics.<\/p>\n

The level of preparation for last years World Cup and Europa Cup events was evaluated positively by foreign experts. The quality of provided technical works, race courses and snow cover were in accordance to International Ski Federation (FIS) standards.<\/p>\n

Preparations for 2023 World Championship are in active phase in order to successfully host high class events. Next race course inspection is planned on March 29th<\/sup> in Bakuriani, which will be held under the auspices of FIS Freestyle Race Director \u2013 Andrea Rinaldi.<\/p>\n
