Georgian organizing committee has once again successfully held an important event regardless bad weather conditions \u2013 Snowboard Slopestyle World Cup test event on March 6th\u00a0 <\/sup>in Bakuriani. The event was live broadcasted through Eurosport channels in different countries of the world.<\/p>\n

As in Freeski World Cup, Snowboard event was also apprehended without Qualification runs, but participating athletes had the chance to have the training session after the Freeski World Cup test event on March 5th<\/sup>. Over 20 snowboarders from 10 countries participated in the event, including one Georgian snowboarder Jaba Skhvediani.<\/p>\n

Quality of the event was evaluated positively as well as\u00a0 from FIS<\/a> (International Ski Federation) , also from foreign athletes. It\u2019s important to mention that 2022 World Cup and Europa Cup<\/a> events were the last stage of preparation for 2023 Freestyle, Snowboard and Freeski World Championship. After successfully performing international events,\u00a0 Georgian Ski Federation has now many local competitions planned<\/a> till the end of this year\u2019s ski season.<\/p>\n
