On February 19th<\/sup> Bakuriani hosted FIS Europa Cup in Parallel Giant Slalom for the very first time in its history.<\/p>\n

Athletes from 11 countries – Austria, Ukraine, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, Slovenia, Australia, Iran, Poland, Italy and Georgia, participated in the competition. Several top ranked athletes\u00a0 visited Bakuriani during the event, such as the Olympic champion Benjamin Karl, Klaudia Riegler, Daniela Ulbing and others. Georgia was represented by successful athlete Revaz Nazghaidze.<\/p>\n

The first place among men was won by Dario Caviezel from Switzerland team.<\/p>\n

Second place \u2013 Benjamin Karl – Austria<\/p>\n

Third place – Stefan Baumeister – Germany<\/p>\n

The results among women were distributed as follows:<\/p>\n

First place \u2013 Jenny Ladina – Switzerland<\/p>\n

Second place \u2013 Milena Bykova – Russia<\/p>\n

Third Place\u2013 Sabine Sch\u00f6ffmann \u2013 Austria<\/p>\n
